If you get a message during the setup wizard that your PC can not communicate with the Wireless Media Stick, then the first thing to try is to reset your router. You can simply unplug it and plug it in again, and connect the stick to your router again. This usually fixes that issue, especially with Telus routers
A second scenario where this message appears, is if you have more than one wireless router in your home, and you don't have it set up to bridge into one contiguous network. The solution is to configure the second router (not the one connected to the internet) to be a bridge. To do this -
1) Log in to the management page of the second router
2) Change the ip address of the router to one above the main router IP address, which is probably xx.xx.xx.1, so make this second router xx.xx.xx.2.
3) IMPORTANT - Turn off DHCP on the second router, you want DHCP (the program that assigns addresses to your devices on your network) to be turned on on the first router (the one connected to the internet) only.
4) Connect the two routers, using the LAN ports. ie, plug one router LAN (not WAN, or INTERNET) port into the other router LAN port. If you connect the second router on it's WAN/Internet port, it won't work properly.
If you still need help setting up your home network to bridge more than one router, please open a support ticket above.
Thanks!
