March 8 2012 - This has been fixed in the update 3.01.003, which is the update you will receive when you update the stick.
If you have just updated your stick to our latest version 3.01, and are trying to setup simple file sharing, and it isn't working right, please simply Clear User Settings on your device. To do this, take a paper clip and while the stick is plugged in your pc/mac (ie powered on) press and hold the reset button on the side and hold it down and count 6 flashes of the LED. Then release the reset button. In about 30 seconds the stick setup drive will show up and you should be able to use Basic File Sharing and it will work properly.
