For the Synology DISK STATION no need to Enable Local Master Browser just Enable Windows Services, You will need to enable the guest account though (be sure to use a strong password) under control panel user tab. This will allow the DISK STATION shared folders to be visible to the WMS.
Then create a new user account just for the WMS and assign it a password, use this account when you select the shared folders in the WMS menu ( for some reason it won't accept the guest account although it needs to be enabled)
